Coda file system support is omitted/disabled in kernel build
A very regretful omission.
The Coda file system is a must when one needs a global name space, data protection and offline mode support.
Of course it is possible to build the kernel module separately, but this undermines the motivation to rely on a distro. As for the bloat factor, the module is tiny.
(Note that there is a universal installer for the userspace part of the Coda file system client. It is very easily deployed and does not have to be included in the distribution - in contrast to the kernel module which has to correspond to the actual kernel)
Please set CONFIG_CODA_FS=m in the kernel config.
