Alpine 3.9.2 busybox is missing udhcpd?
Hi. Great work on Alpine. I spent all night working on a Alpine based wireless router and I stumbled when trying to start udhcpd. The included busybox has udhcpc (client) but not udhcpd (server). This kind of put s damper on the wiki page (https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/Wireless\_AP\_with\_udhcpd\_and\_NAT) that covers configuring udhcpd (server).
Any tips on how to add it? Is there a different busybox update I should be adding? Or is this a difference between Alpine distribution versions? If it is, I would suggest avoiding un-obvious differences like this. I have almost everything the way I want it, just missing udhcpd.
apk add udhcpd
- ls -al /etc/udhcpd.conf
-rw-r—r— 1 root root 4389 Mar 16 16:10 /etc/udhcpd.conf
- ls -al /etc/init.d/udhcpd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 174 Dec 24 15:36 /etc/init.d/udhcpd
- busybox udhcpd
udhcpd: applet not found
- busybox —list | grep udhc
udhcpc
udhcpc6
